@Borderlands U guys are an absolute joke , still no improvements to performance for console yet u wonna pump out new content but the game runs like shit ? Im out , as a life long BL fan I never saw myself quit on the franchise and sticking to the older games

THEY LISTENED! Confirmed Pearls will be dropping with less part variance. If you get a Pearl to drop, the likelyhood of it actually being good should be much higher! W @Borderlands

Last post about pearls but it has to be said. This level of part variance shouldn’t exist on Pearls and here is why: The magic of finding a pearl is seeing that teal beam and knowing you got something awesome. This current implementation doesn’t allow for that. Pearls currently have WAY more part variance than even legendaries. Not only can all 3 pearls roll massively different damage amounts (up to double damage) BUT they can also roll 2 licensed parts + the override. What this means is you might need to drop 100+ of the same pearl just to get a “good” one. This ruins the magic because it also means tons of pearl drops will be “bad” and also by the time you get a good one you will basically be numb to the pearl drop cause you’ve seen it so much already. Loot was ruined in Borderlands 3 on launch with this exact system with non-rerollable anoints. So how does Gearbox fix this: along with the upcoming changes to pearls, please implement curated rolls. If the damage roll range on the pistol is from 2k-6.5k damage, change it to only drop at 6-6.5K damage. Also I would make 1 license part guaranteed on each (community could give input on this) but I think eigenburst should always roll ripper, the hand cannon and conflux with Jakobs and then still let them get 1 random part. Or at the very least guarantee that they always roll 2 license parts cause they currently can roll from 0-2. When the drop rates are getting decreased please decrease the amount of part variance & base damage variance to allow for these drops to feel special 🙏 @GearboxOfficial @grantkao

@PalZer0 @LanceJoshlin @ProdigyXL Luckily I havent had any crashes but me and all my friends on ps5 all have performance issues on this game , playing co op is just unplayable too with how bad the game runs in co op for us

@LanceJoshlin @ProdigyXL Game def runs perfect in alot of areas but in some it dont and there are quite alot of areas where it doesnt run properly and drops frames alot

@EdgyMoon5 @MASSIVEgaming18 @Borderlands yeah, keep complaining while people who are actually playing on council. I don’t know if you’re planning on a series S or some shitty council but if you’re playing on an Xbox series X or a PlayStation five you don’t really have issues. I don’t on either.

@ProdigyXL Thanks for the response im just frustrated as a life long BL fan I cant enjoy this game on ps5 , the frame drops just kills it for me and I was hoping the game would run fine the day C4SH releases .

@EdgyMoon5 Most performance and optimization work is platform agnostic; while we didn't go into specifics on console, our work on lower spec PCs have improved consoles post launch as well. This update focuses on PC numbers, but consoles are a big part of our conversations internally.

@EdgyMoon5 @Borderlands Main issue in that regard is the horrendous Unreal Engine 5, idk why they used it, seems like they just cheaped out whilst offloading all thw work to the end-user. Also, different parts of the Studios for those.
