It's a tough one this as he is a genuinely nice bloke but this issue has spiralled out of control from something pretty outrageous to absolutely standard in EDM circles. Look, we get it. You 'have' to do prerecorded sets to sync with the bangers and glitter. And even highly credible acts like Chemical Brothers do it too. This thing is, he tells us that there are cameras to tell the visual guys what is playing, and we can see the cameras are plugged in, yes. But we can also see the audio gear is not plugged in at all. Don't play us for fools dude. This image isn't online or tampered with its from a fan who couldn't believe his eyes and sent it to me. I could only reply that I knew already for many many years and indeed had already mentioned it without naming any names in my books. And you know what? There's at least one if not two generations who just don't care. A few of you will be reading this going 'so what?'. Norman was arguably always ground zero for EDM. OpenAI's Sora is a huge technological leap, but what excites me the most about it is the modalities where it depends on input other than text alone. Such as video to video.
