📚 ARCHIVES | Arguably Hearts' (@JamTarts) best ever player - and a member of our lodge. Reports on his funeral read: “Almost every football club was represented & members of the Lodge paraded round the grave dropping sprigs of golden rod while thousands stood silent”

@EssGeeDyfrdwy1 Most Scottish Lodges will close in the degree of the ceremony. Quite common therefore to hear the ritual associated with each.
Interestingly Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No. 2 in Edinburgh never closes, they merely adjourn each meeting and resume at the subsequent.
English

Do you always fully close in the higher degrees or close on the gavel only? For me there is something special about closing fully in the 3rd but i would be interested in your opinion? #masonicmuse
