📈 Is global liquidity breaking into the "fun zone"?
Global Monetary Liquidity YoY percentage change now sits at 4.3%.
This is the highest YoY growth since April 2022.
It's currently attempting to re-enter what I've previously labelled the "fun zone" (YoY growth of 4%+) for the first time since April 2020.
4% is an arbitrary number - there is no specific reason for this number.
But it is my best attempt at defining a single level that, since 2009, could generally be seen as the "tipping point" for pushing asset prices higher.
This has been particularly true for bitcoin and other large cap cryptocurrencies.
The prospect of further significant global liquidity growth is promising, because this set-up is occurring right at the start of a global central bank easing cycle.
And there is yet to be any notable official "easing" from the US Federal Reserve or the People's Bank of China.
