You know my love of @courierjournal but y’all have been 4 steps behind since a LEX outlet broke this story. A late-FRI publish on Mom’s Day weekend means it’s DOA. It’s his town, district + voters + you’re the local voice. What’s unfair is too few there know about his behavior.

But…I do wonder why an important story like this is posted so late on a Friday afternoon when there’s such little traffic, didn’t receive a push alert + won’t get much social media love on Mother’s Day weekend. “Here’s a story we really don’t want you to read,” it seems to say

A grateful nation thanks him. My father, a WWII vet,was in signal corps and at some point crossed paths with some of the Code Talkers. After he died, I found a photo of some of them in his belongings. Would love to know the story,

People calling for Day to be fired can’t be taken seriously. I’m not happy, he’s had his not so great moments, but he did win a national championship and OSU is a premier program that just pumps out NFL talent. Kids come to play for him.
Next season they’ll be even better.
