Today we’re shouting out Wanesa, St. Joseph School District’s Excellence Award winner for February! Wanesa has been with Edustaff since 2021 and continues to make a lasting impact across the district. Nominated by Lindbergh Elementary and multiple schools, she is known for the way she connects with students, especially those in ELD programs. Lindbergh Elementary shared that Wanesa consistently goes above and beyond, and that she is “amazing with all of their students.” We’re so proud to have Wanesa as part of our team. This February, we attended Hillman Elementary School’s Parent-Teacher Conferences and had a great time connecting with so many potential substitutes! The day was made even sweeter with Fat Tuesday donuts for families. 🍩 We also want to give a special shoutout to Hillman’s elementary principal for his continued support. He’s always a friendly face to see in the schools and even participated in our yard sign contest last year! We love partnering with leaders who bring that kind of enthusiasm for their district. She is always prepared to step into a classroom and provide continued, uninterrupted instruction at a moment's notice.” Congratulations to Kathleen for being White Mountains Regional School District Excellence Award winner for the first semester! Kathleen has been a game changer for the district: “At times, Ms. Kathy has been asked to step into a class in which the teacher was not prepared for a substitute and did not have adequate lesson plans for class. On those few occassions, Ms. Kathy has walked into a room full of students who are off-task and unprepared for learning. Within moments, she has regained control of the class, analyzed the lack of content and material, and quickly thought of an activity that kept instruction flowing and students engaged. This is the skill of a master teacher.” Thank you for your amazing work, Kathleen!
