They really hate that hotel

The low attendance argument from people who try to justify relocation is especially annoying because it’s the same people who think Seattle is owed a franchise now. I think Seattle deserves their team back too, but their attendance sucked for years prior to relocation iirc

LeBron James on playing the Grizzlies: “I’m f***ing 41 years of age. You think I want to do sh** in Memphis on a random Thursday? I’m not the first guy in the NBA to talk about this. You guys got to move the team… go over to Nashville already.” (via @leaguealerts)

Why everybody all of a sudden want Memphis not to have an NBA team? Where is this smoke for Sacramento?

Here ya go

I don’t know, man. Some of these possessions would scare me away from Boozer

Memphis Grizzlies rebranding event in 2004

The Timberwolves or Grizzlies are expected to move to the Eastern Conference if the NBA approves expansion teams in Las Vegas and Seattle, per @ShamsCharania

Bam Adebayo has tied Kobe Bryant’s 81 points for the No. 2 single-game scoring total in league history.

Status Update: Santi Aldama (RT Knee Injury Management) is out tonight at Minnesota.

@alexwinton_ I haven’t given it a ton of thought, but a lot of the outlook for the rebuild rests on his ankle. Like we’re in a terrible place if he is never right.

With all the recent talk of small lead guards being a fading archetype (e.g., the Trae, Ja, and Garland cases), Steph being able to escape this phenomenon stems from two main facts: 1. Being the greatest off-ball player of all time has allowed him to maintain his effectiveness that might have been reduced had he opted not to diversify his offensive repertoire. 2. Investing in building up his functional strength has allowed him to be more relatively durable compared to other small guards.
