The blacklist of Traveller surnames such as @pontins blacklist isn't just adopted by those in the holiday/entertainment/social sectors. These lists have often applied been applied to schools and GP surgeries. There are children who have been left uneducated due to their surname

@TravellerRacism It's so true one example was used in court a few days ago a social worker who said she had 6 weeks training about Traveller's was telling the judge our ways of life the things she said did not make sense I feel disgusted with people like her

One of the most irritating thing I come across on twitter is the people who try to tell me what Travellers are or who tell me that they are right and I am wrong concerning MY OWN community. Why do they assume they know more about my own people that I do? #AskTravellers #knowledge
