The good news is that some help is coming for utility bills. But the reality is much more that needs to be done. Albany needs to roll back unworkable mandates & completely revisit an energy overhaul that isn’t working.

N.Y. is entering a level of historic dysfunction, now 44 days past the April 1 budget deadline. It's possible NY'ers will vote on local school budgets before legislators vote on a state budget bill. Today we passed a 12th budget extender. A competent, functional government would need to pass zero.

Common sense prevailed in Albany today. The court’s decision is a victory for fairness and election integrity after a politically motivated attempt to block Bruce Blakeman from the state’s matching funds program.
