@BWFM111 @SlushiiPls Why does my peak matter, I play with friends, my girlfriend ect, I play for fun and don't fully invest half my days hours trying to reach new peaks You'll see some seasons I end up in plat, or don't play ranked at all because I ultimately am not playing ultra competitively.

@Linkzbtw ok actually last last thing, I do see the configs that rivalsfpsgg uses are 100% for performance and don't get rid of map altering features, so I actually am okay with the rivalsfpsgg launcher and those that use it

@Linkzbtw last comment on this, my PC is around 20-30% faster than yous - it's not even a comparison you should be making - that with double the RAM, faster storage and just a more modern supported set up just beats your build anyday, not trying to flame but your PC is not 2k in 2026.

Anyone who is saying they need to spend ''3K on a new PC just to play Marvel Rivals'' are just lying to try get their way, here's my PC I built for £720 ($950) and it's FPS with NO CONFIGS (and I had an even worse PC, cost around £380 ($500) before this that still ran at 100+FPS)

@Linkzbtw Also, ''2k+ PC btw'' with these specs? maybe 7 years ago bud? also don't use rivals. gg launcher maybe? and also you HAVE a config enabled and it still lags, your PC is the problem???

What's even funnier how they ripped it and didn't even understand what I was saying. I re-read their version and it's just them trying to justify config bans. I don't think configs should be banned, but for some reason they're taking a screenshot of a rule that has nothing to do with configs and trying to justify their opinions on config bans. That's not even what the rule is stating...it's literally talking about explicit mods. Mods ≠ Configs

@Ferhadhaydari Then your $2000 PC is not optimised. There are other ways to communicate to people than attempting to ragebait, being a dick and trying to be right all the time. Your PC is the issue when it comes to your set up, not the game. I do agree the game needs more optimisation tho

@EdwardTRK_MR Yo stop the yapping, ur gm peak, the 1one season i played on pc i peaked c1 on mnk and im a console player, configs should be allowed, but it shouldnt give cheating advantage like removing fog, My 1200$ pc could only get average 120 fps with configs, meanwhile other games 240fps

People howling at me over the fact I use FSR4 Frame Gen in Marvel Rivals... I have never had an issue with it. I've played with and without frame gen on rivals and I can literally not tell the difference at all, my 9060xt is doing gods work.

I play with frame gen to try and match my higher Hz monitor. 260-280fps with frame gen, 155-170fps without it FSR4 is really goated when it comes to response time. I also have Anti-Lag 2 enabled, this offsets a massive amount of any delay - it feels super good on Rivals.

@Ptoki11 @smilecatemoji to address that the ''Average gamer has a 240hz ips'' they do not, my entire friend group have 60-100hz monitors or a gaming laptop with a 144hz display - thats 12 people. The AVERAGE player doesn't have 240hz displays, 100hz displays are the new medium.

@Sweltercrochet counterpoint, configs are against ToS + a lot of users abuse them, so maybe blame them for getting rid of game breaking features (fog, moving objects, stuff that's MEANT to obscure vision) and pretending to be on your side when they only want a competitive advantage over others
