Suggesting the utility of GRADE here is perfectly reasonable. Radically inflating this into an argument that the work is faulty (as your colleague implies) is misleading.

By not reporting the certainty of evidence reported in your review, you’re missing a piece of the puzzle and important context is missing. That’s all.
