£1000.
That’s not the average cost of a flat per month. It’s the average cost of a ROOM in almost one third of London postcodes.
Renters shouldn’t have put up with this. I call on the Govt: give me the power to freeze London rents.

@H_Chowdhury @LastWordOnSpurs @MailSport You’ve had seasoned managers and not worked. Why not go for new type. Burnley fans say he’s been fantastic for them. You will never be happy anyway.

🚨Vincent Kompany has become the ‘leading candidate’ to take over as Tottenham Hotspur manager.
🇧🇪Kompany is interested in the Spurs hot seat, which would mark a serious step in the young manager's career, having only retired in the summer of 2020.

@cpaul_ffc @FootyScran No way was that £9.60. The hot dog is £4.50 so you are talking nonsense.

@HLTCO Fantastic value. Throw in 24hrs a day content for 52 weeks a year. You pay £60 for a single ticket to many Prem matches.

@bwcronin Bit harsh. First 30mins we were fantastic. Just lacked the quality when it counted

@1966MJG It’s the elephant in the room. No one seems to present the whole package? When you apply for a job you evaluate the package not your basic pay. If nothing to hide let everyone present their benefits.
English

So are we now going to be moving from quoting peoples basic pay to now starting including all the benefits a person gets from their pay including pension contributions etc to help a argument? With that what is a MPs pay including all the benefits they get?

Nurses deserve about £50,000 a year. But factor in the pension (about a third of their total package) and this is what the average nurse already gets. My column on strikes - and what the government isn't saying... telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/12/2…

@Faye_Shepherd On the breadline with his blue £300 Moncler gillet??

Striking is a last resort for us. None of us want to be here, but we have to be here to safeguard our patients, the profession and the NHS. The government has to listen. Please stand with us. 💚💙 #NHSStrikes #ambulancestrike
