MLS passes the eyeballs test. 8/9 out of 10 times its packed stadiums. This isn't even worth discussing MLS is a VERY well attended league listed 3rd behind MLB 29.4k

@TheBerg09 @JaseOfBase513 More context: in the US corporate tickets sales ending up with empty seats account for about a 20% boost to MLS attendance numbers. Meaning - the actual attendance is about 20% lower than what is marketed by MLS.

People hate #MLS so much that it’s one of the highest attended leagues in the world.

@TheBerg09 @proudcascadian @JaseOfBase513 Most importantly Seattle and Atlanta have experienced attendance dips Seattle has started to recover but Atlanta looks to be as much as 10k lower than their peak yrs. They won't be this bad their attendance is rock bottom. All that said MLS attendance not close to peaking.

NYC is opening up their new 25k stadium which will be close to capacity week in/out Montreal will be moving into a renovated 55k Olympic Stadium. Dallas renovation 1/2 lowered capacity..1/2

Two things: Apple > Fox, and it's not even close. I didn't even know who Jake Zivin was before tonight, but he's been great. Twellman is great too. I've now watched two MLS matches & they've both been beatdowns (Seattle–Portland and El Tráfico). I must be some kind of bad luck.
