🚨🏴 | NEW:
One reason why Man City are leaders for Elliot Anderson over #MUFC is their PROACTIVE ENGAGEMENT.
City engaged in talks with Anderson's representatives as early as before Christmas, BEATING United to the initial punch.

@BengalsBrews Caleb Downs is a great player, but he may get drafted outside the top 10. Starks was also very good and had a great combine and pro day and was drafted 27th overall in round 1.
English

Caleb Downs (6’0 205) Ohio State
+ Coach on the field/film junkie
+ 89.6 coverage grade in 2025
+ 83.7 run defense grade in 2025
+ Has just under 2,500 snaps in only three years in college
+ Physical in run support
+ Special teams’ experience including as a punt returner
+ Elite anticipation skills
+ Alignment versatility
- Not expected to be an elite tester and may not test at all
- Would like to see him wrap up when tackling on a more consistent basis
- Doesn’t have overwhelming size

@FieldYates @AdamSchefter He is a first round pick that will go much higher than people have him on their mock drafts.

Alabama OT Kadyn Proctor had a lot of people buzzing here at pro day. His movements skills during the on-field drills were exceptional. And you could hear the sound of him hitting the bags from the opposite side of the field.
He’s got a busy slate of visits between now and the draft, starting with the Chiefs later this week.

@UtdXclusive @samuelluckhurst They need 3 signings at midfield. Mainoo is good but they need 2 world class CMs if they want to play CL and EPL.

@FinsXtra @ChrisWinn211 I agree. Mostert had his best season with McDaniel. Many players did.
Good teams have captains and leaders along with players that show up to win games and practice. The team leader Brooks said players didn’t play well because it was too cold.

🎥 Jarvis Landry on Raheem Mostert’s comments about Mike McDaniel:
“If we’re depending on a coach to lay the hammer down, be this tough presence around the team, it tells me that they didn’t have enough leaders inside of the organization… the coach shouldn’t have to yell. [We’re] grown men.” (@4thAndSouthPod) #PhinsUp

🎥 Raheem Mostert on Mike McDaniel player-friendly approach as a head coach: "When you're dealing with a coach that's so nonchalant, laid back... as a player you're like, I need somebody tough that's going to layer the hammer down when it needs to be down and tell other players to get in line, and when you don't got that, that impact can definitely be detrimental." Lewis Hall has made so many world class passes. He should be a Manchester United player! x.com/vjedgyfox/stat…

Manchester United should reinvest the transfer fee for winger Diomande.

@TheDrewWelch Teams wanted Willis because of the potential to be the next Darnold. Teams wanted Fitzpatrick because they didn’t want a QB for more than a season or two after a top 5-10 draft pick.
English

Willis and Fitzpatrick are not the same QB and I don’t mean their game; but their potential and why a team thinks Willis can be good.
Willis made some big time throws that are elite and has potential to be a good QB like Darnold. If he does well with a good roster then this team can win 9+ games. Fitzpatrick with a good roster still wouldn’t win 9+ games. He always had 4 great games a season while getting to 5 wins.
Willis also can scramble which helps the OL and the ability to score points. Nearly all the good teams this year had QBs that can scramble.
English

Dolphins may sign Walker and a WR like Doubs or Bourne. Many teams that needed a LB got their guy. Walker is still available and that may be due to the Dolphins trying to extend their current players to make cap space.
I do not think the Dolphins are in rebuild either. That team got a new QB and somehow it’s a rebuild? That same roster nearly had 9 wins last year.
People are calling this a rebuild because they are replacing a QB with a lot of cap space. That isn’t a rebuild. They have too many good players at key positions to call it a rebuild.
