My morning prayer 🤲 🌅 🙏🏻 Heavenly Father, I rise this morning with a grateful heart, knowing that Your mercy has carried me through the night and given me another chance to live, to love, and to grow. Lord, may You let Your light shine and guide me today. Cleanse my heart from worry and fear, and fill me with peace and strength. Direct my steps and guard my words. Let me reflect Your love in all I do. I place my worries, plans and struggles in Your hands. Be my strength when I am weak and my wisdom when I am unsure. Protect me and my loved ones, and surround us with Your love, mercy and grace. I trust You, Lord, and I know You will take a lead in everything I will do today. Amen. 🙏

Mary, Mother of Holy Detachment, intercede for us that we may loosen our grip on worldly comforts and attachments. Help us to seek first the Kingdom of God and to value eternal treasures above temporary pleasures. Amen🙏🏽

Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (John 11:1-45): Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Resurrection and the Life, the One who has power over death and the giver of eternal hope. In the home of Bethany, You shared in the sorrow of Martha and Mary of Bethany, and You wept at the tomb of Lazarus. In Your tears, we see Your compassion and, in Your voice, we hear the power of divine love. Lord, You know the grief we carry, the losses that weigh upon our hearts, and the moments when hope seems buried. Be close to all who mourn, and comfort those who suffer the pain of separation. You declared with authority: “I am the resurrection and the life”. Increase our faith, O Lord, that we may believe in You even in the face of death, and trust in the promise of eternal life. Call us forth, Lord Jesus, from the tombs of sin, fear, and despair. Like Lazarus, bound and unable to move, we too are often held captive by our weaknesses. Speak Your word into our lives, “Come out!” and set us free. Unbind us, Lord, from whatever keeps us from living fully in Your grace. Remove the stones that close our hearts, stones of doubt, resentment, and hardness, and fill us with the light of Your presence. God Our Father, You heard the prayer of Your Son and revealed Your glory through this great sign. Help us to recognize Your work in our lives and to give You thanks in all things. May this mystery strengthen our hope in the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. As we journey through this life, teach us to live as people of hope, trusting that no darkness is too great, no grave too deep, for Your love to overcome. We entrust ourselves and all our loved ones to You, confident that You will one day call each of us by name into the fullness of life. Amen

As we enter Passiontide, we are invited to slow down and enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s suffering love. A time to turn our hearts toward Him as He moves toward the Cross. A quiet but profound invitation to let go of our distractions, embrace the sincerity of our being, and a time to allow Christ’s Passion to shape us. May this season draw us closer to Him, deepen our love, and prepare us to enter more fully into the hope of His Resurrection (and ours).
