Some unfiltered thoughts on Build Games 🔺 We didn’t make it to Stage 4. That obviously wasn’t the outcome we expected or wanted. At the time, it was more than just frustrating because we had put a lot into it and genuinely believed we were building something that could change how science is conducted. We also thought we understood the product in and out. Turns out not enough. Looking back, that was the most valuable part of the whole experience. It forced us to stop thinking about how to push the current version harder and start asking a better question: what does @meltfixyz actually need to become? It exposed weak assumptions, showed us where the product was still too ambiguous, and made it clear that the opportunity was bigger than the version we had originally packaged. So no, we didn’t get the result we wanted. But we came out of it with something more important: a better understanding of the product, a clearer thesis, and a much stronger direction for where the product needs to go. Sometimes failure is more valuable than success. Thanks @avax @avery_bartlett @vohvohh 🙏
