Today, the EF and @HarambeeRw teams hosted an official in-person onboarding event to welcome Cohort Three to the English Proficiency and Communication Skills Program. The goal of this partnership is to equip young people with the skills they need to be truly work-ready, especially for opportunities in the growing #GBS sector. We wish our learners the very best as they begin their learning journey!🥳

Since yesterday, the EF team has been facilitating a hands-on training workshop for CPD Coordinators from the Western Province. These workshops aim to equip coordinators to effectively support teachers in the national English Proficiency Programme through Communities of Practice. Participants are receiving practical guidance and a dedicated training manual to take back and support peers in their schools. The trainings will soon roll out across other provinces as the Teacher English Proficiency Programme expands nationwide. #TeacherDevelopment

Vingt-huit inspecteurs de l’éducation au niveau des districts ont entamé un programme de formation intensive de 25 jours au TTC Nyamata, se déroulant du 19 janvier au 19 février, visant à renforcer l’inspection et l’évaluation du français langue étrangère (FLE) dans les écoles primaires et secondaires à travers le Rwanda. Cette initiative, financée par l’Agence Française de Développement (AFD) et le Ministère de l’Éducation, s’inscrit dans les efforts plus larges du Rwanda visant à améliorer la qualité de l’enseignement du français à travers le renforcement des capacités.

The EF and @REBRwanda teams are currently training ICT teachers and high-performing teachers enrolled in the English Proficiency Program, equipping them with the technical skills needed to support their fellow teachers in accessing and using the English learning platform. @EfRwanda @REBRwanda I recently sat for the EF test but unfortunately, I have not received any results (feedback). Additionally, my name does not appear on the list of teachers who failed, or those were selected for training. What can I do?

Yesterday in Kirehe District, we proudly celebrated #TeachersDay at the national level 🥳 Ten high-achieving teachers were recognized for their impressive progress in the English Proficiency Program, implemented by @Rwanda_Edu and @REBRwanda and delivered by EF. We are so proud of their commitment, growth, and hard work. Congratulations to all the awardees 👏🏾

This is a one-time chance training supported by @EfRwanda. Every teacher has been given a single, fully funded opportunity to build English skills. Those who miss it will not receive another government-sponsored training&will still be required to meet the B2 standard. @mutezigaju
