GOODNEWS: The Air Component of Operation HADIN Kai recorded a major operational success following precision airstrikes that neutralized multiple terrorist elements within the Sambisa Forest in Borno State. The operation was executed based on actionable intelligence indicating the presence of insurgent elements within the Parisu axis of the forest. At approximately 2100 hours on March 20, an air platform was tasked and deployed to conduct an armed reconnaissance and air interdiction mission over the designated target area. Upon arrival on station, the platform established positive visual identification of suspected Boko Haram fighters conducting coordinated tactical movements within the area of interest. Further ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) confirmed the insurgents maneuvering in small elements before consolidating at a concealed structure camouflaged under dense foliage. Subsequently, precision strikes were executed on the target, resulting in the effective neutralization of multiple hostile combatants.

BREAKING GOOD NEWS 🔥 Precision Airstrikes Crush Sambisa Enclaves, Scores of Terrorists Eliminated The Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI has recorded a significant operational breakthrough following a series of precision airstrikes that neutralised scores of terrorists in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno State. Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the mission was launched based on credible intelligence indicating heightened insurgent activity around the Parisu axis deep within the forest. At about 9:00 p.m. on March 20, an air asset was deployed to conduct an armed reconnaissance and interdiction operation over the target area. Upon arrival, the platform established visual contact with suspected Boko Haram fighters moving in a coordinated and tactical manner. Further surveillance showed the insurgents converging on a concealed structure camouflaged under dense vegetation. Maintaining persistent overwatch, the aircrew trailed the movement to the hideout and executed a precision strike. The strike was delivered with high accuracy, destroying the structure and neutralising multiple terrorists on site. Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) conducted after the strike revealed that several insurgents fled from adjoining hideouts in disarray, attempting to escape deeper into the forest. Maintaining pressure, the air platform tracked the fleeing elements and conducted a follow-up strike on another identified hideout. The second engagement further degraded the terrorists’ capabilities, destroying additional targets and forcing surviving fighters into chaotic retreat. The sustained air presence and successive precision engagements highlight increasing air dominance, effectively denying terrorists freedom of movement and sanctuary within their enclaves. Military sources added that the operation is part of ongoing, coordinated air and ground offensives aimed at dismantling remaining terrorist strongholds across Sambisa Forest and its surrounding corridors.

In 2011, on average Nigerian bankers went home with N5.5m/$35.2k. In 2024, the same worker went home with N21.1m/$13.7k. Workers became 2.5x poorer on the dollar. @Hitee_ @Olag0ke @Dontee___

Nigeria is experiencing one of the world's steepest gasoline price increases, despite being a major oil producer. Fuel prices have risen nearly 40% since the outbreak of the Iran war, reflecting both global shocks and domestic vulnerabilities. The Dangote Refinery and government-owned NNPC have both raised wholesale and retail prices, with some areas seeing pump prices surge 30–40%. Deregulation of Nigeria's fuel market means domestic prices rapidly respond to international oil prices, exchange rates, and supply risks.

If you don't understand this thread, i'll explain it in the most basic terms. So, a crack spread is what measures the the difference between the market price of refined petroleum products and the cost of the crude oil used to produce them. In this case, it uses the 4-2-1-1 variant which means that for every 4 barrels of crude input, the refinery produces 2 barrels of gasoline, 1 barrel of diesel, and 1 barrel of fuel oil. If you look at the chart, it shows that the spread held flat from November 2025 through late January 2026, then spiked sharply in March 2026. The $60/bbl figure means Dangote currently earns roughly $60 over its crude input cost for every barrel it processes. A higher crack spread means a refinery is more profitable per barrel. For Dangote as an operator, $60/bbl is an exceptionally wide margin by global standards. Global complex refiners typically operate at $10 to $20/bbl in normal market conditions.
K. D. Ivi-Oreh@NagosBigBoi

The Dangote crack spread is actually above $60/bbl currently. It has more than doubled.
