A huge #thankyou from all the team and the animals. Throughout the #COVID19 lock-down , Jean-Luc has been living on site feeding the #PinkPigeons and Echo Parakeets, working in our plant nursery (watering, weeding, potting up, collecting seedlings) and cuddling the tortoises.

It's the World Wildlife day! #Didyouknow that since 2018 we released 50 Pink pigeon (Nesoenas mayeri) and 37 Echo parakeet (Psittacula eques) in our reserve, with our objective of setting a population of these threatened endemic species in Chamarel.@CommunityCEPF @mwfWildlife

With our continuous effort of restoring our native forest and the support received from @CommunityCEPF , we have found 2 new individuals of the critically endangered, known with less than 50 individuals in the wild, #boiscorail, Chassalia boryana in the last month!
