anyway i think what clorinde said here regarding her relationship with emilie is such a great way to describe fontaine casts relationships. all of them are connected in some way or another but their social circles hardly intersect.

@emeraldice67 tears that wash away her sins....🥺 kinda sum fontaine lore 👁️ and how Neuvillette "tears" (aka the rain) washed away all fontanians sins the same way in the AQ🤔

Thinking about this again... we know now that Clorinde's BoL lore relates to how she accumulates "sin" from her work... and there's this legend that Hydro Crystalflies are condensed tears that wash away sins... I wonder if they are drawn to Clorinde for that reason
