@xeow @EgotasticFT I think i would compromise. For myself season 3 seemed like a series of movies with the cinematic quality effects. If they can be converted to the IMAX format, i would pay for the experience

Don't get me wrong... I'm excited that Seth confirmed that season 4 of #TheOrville is completely written. #4ville. But I'm ultimately hoping for #6ville and a movie!

@EgotasticFT I just started watching the Ted series, there's practically the entire Orville cast on that show, no wonder season 4 hasn't been started, they can't be at two places at once.

@EgotasticFT Hmm. What would it take for an Orville movie to be financially viable? ST:TMP succeeded at the box office because by 1979 Star Trek was already a cultural phenomenon: syndication, hundreds of fan clubs, and conventions drawing thousands of Trekkies (~6k in 1973; ~15k in 1974).
