🇧🇪 Belgium's state broadcaster VRT replaced its live Catholic mass slot with a pre-recorded Islamic religious service. First of two planned mosque broadcasts scheduled for 2026, lobbied in by the Muslim Council of Belgium. Worth noting: VRT's own Director General questioned continuing Christian broadcasts at all back in 2023, using the abuse scandal documentary as the reason. So the sequencing here is: discredit Christianity, clear the slot, fill it with Muslims. European public broadcasters are supposed to reflect their societies. The question is which version of Belgian society VRT thinks it's serving. Source: svtv news

The incompetence of Russian mercenaries in Mali is mindblowing, but it's just very disapointing that no European leader did a press conference about it, or simply say, "Hey, the Russians are losing in the Sahel," Putin never misses a chance to humiliate EU, he even bluffed by saying the Iran war benefits him and people believed it, until a month later it was revealed he just lied. Europe can do better on the information warfare front, it complains so much about.

@GerryvdMoortel De patronale bijdragen daalden idd door de taxshift. rond de 21% patronale rsz in 2023 lijkt me wel laag ingeschat. Intussen kwam er de laatste 10 jaar ook Vlaamse aanvullende sociale zekerheid bij. De zorgpremie volstaat niet om de kosten te dekken. We need more data.

Sinds 2000 dragen jaar na jaar meer werkende mensen bij aan onze sociale zekerheid en toch stijgen de inkomsten van die sociale zekerheid niet. Het beleid creëert een tekort met permanente lastenverlagingen op arbeid om hun besparingen te legitimeren bij om. werklozen en zieken.
