Kubo had to literally keep them apart for hundreds of chapters for fear of them overshadowing his endgame and they still did it both in the last chapter and the extra chapter

@ElSenorGeek @ImKisukeThough Apples to Oranges. Even against the almighty aizen couldn't pull anything fancy. Just replace ichigo with aizen in every future ywhach saw so that he couldn't use it easily counter ichigo. Six eyes by comparison could see any inconsistency down to the atomic level.
