Here #Zimbabwe #Cricket is on the world stage playing @BCCI in the @cricketworldcup and our pathetic selectors choose poorly - again. I don’t like naming players because it isn’t their fault if they get selected. But to select a 4th seamer (and drop a spinner who has been one of our best this World Cup) on a turning pitch and select another player whose confidence is down over an exciting new player is simply at best irresponsible. I just hope other political factors weren’t at play. We need to appreciate that this isn’t just about cricket - it is about the marketing of our country before hundreds of millions of people. We have to put our best team forward and anything less is against our national interest.
