The referee became a totally different person after the first half, giving all decisions to PSG and waving away Arsenal’s clear penalty. I have never seen any officiating as bad as that. I hope someone like him never gets to referee Arsenal match again.

Navy Commander Jan Bida losing a primary to an incumbent governor does not erase his competence, discipline, or vision. Politics is often about timing and structure as much as capacity.

Pls, I genuinely need help.. Someone asked me for 30k this morning. I sent the money and moved on with my day, only to open WhatsApp later and see epistles of prayers waiting for me, this evening the mum called to pray.. That was when I suspected so I cross-checked the transfer.. I literally sent 300k instead of 30k.. since then, I’ve been thinking of how to ask for my balance back humbly without me sounding somehow 😔 Please, how do i ask for it without making the mum feel bad?

@MayorOfNasarawa Sadly, our institutions work in favor of those in power and against the interest of the common man. I also noticed how the court avoided the issue of party register in SDP's case. All is not well.

MAYOR
MAYOR@MayorOfNasarawa·
MY THOUGHT THIS MORNING: My Fears About INEC'S Decision To Appeal The Judgment Of The Federal High Court On Offensive INEC Guidelines 2023 the Supreme Court delivered two outstanding judgments that shook me to the bone marrows, made me doubt my knowledge and understanding of the Law and task my sense of mortality and sense of reasoning The two judgments that gave me nightmares in 2023 both have their roots in the outcome of the 2023 general elections Viz: The case of the then Senate President Ahmed Lawan in the Yobe State Senatorial election and that of Godswill Akpabio from the Akwa Ibom State Senatorial election. I am still struggling to come to terms with the reasoning and the legal foundation on which both judgments were based by the Supreme Court of Nigeria The other case decided by the Supreme Court which also confused me about the law and it's application to facts was the decision of the Supreme Court in the Governorship and Legislative elections in Plateau State. From similar facts under the similar circumstances, the Supreme Court arrived at two divergent and irreconcilable decisions allowing the Governorship election to stand while sacking in a sweeping manner all the PDP winners of the national and State legislative elections. This decision appears to me be absurd if not a travesty or a gross miscarriage of justice The Supreme Court of Nigeria has stated with commendable humility that it's decision on any matter it decided is final under the law and the Constitution but that the Court is not infallible in reasoning In my humble and deeply respectable opinion, the Supreme Court of Nigeria may look back in retrospect and review these two cases that sparked controversy and even outrage amongst Nigerians in 2023 and perhaps conclude in it's mind that that it did something quite extraordinary and perhaps inexplicable in these two cases in in which the reasoning of the Court was faulted even by the lay members of the Nigerian society I have been reminded about what the Supreme Court did that stunned many Nigerians in the two cases referenced above and what it can do in political cases after the INEC has been reported to have appealed a harmless but a politically corrective judgment of the Federal High Court which faulted and declared unconstitutional and ultra vires the powers of the INEC to make, some provisions of the INEC Guidelines that are in conflict or inconsistent with the Electoral Act and the Constitution The Nigerian public from the general reactions of the people have not complained about but instead celebrated the judgment of the Federal High as the right decision legally and politically which deepened and supports the growth and development of democracy in Nigeria and this case has the potential of moving up the judicial ladder to the Supreme Court The questiona most Nigerians are asking are: Who is the INEC working for and in whose interest is it appealing this widely acceptable judgement of the Federal High Court?
MAYOR@MayorOfNasarawa

The INEC'S decision to appeal the Federal High Court decision on some INEC Guidelines being inconsistent or in conflict with some sections of the Electoral Act and the Constitution is curious and raises the question most Nigerians have been asking since Professor Amupitan was appointed as the INEC Chairman by President Tinubu. The question reverberates and re echoes: who is the INEC working for? - Yusuf Shehu

@MayorOfNasarawa Who be that your LGA chairman? As if the retired IG didn't rig in gayam, chiroma and makama wards. Leave all these social media noise, your emotions and start mobilizing for him in SDP. They'll also eat from the largesse, he'll cry more after the elections and nothing will happen
