Do the math, @MTNNG took ₦55,000 from me in just three days for a service that was supposed to last a full month, and now they are offering ₦341 as compensation. That is not a remedy; it is an insult. #OCCUPYMTNNOW #AACOURPARTY

Nigeria failed me. 💔 Last year changed my life in ways I never imagined. I went through terrible ordeals that still affect me every day: 1. I was kidnapped because of insecurity. 2. I had an accident caused by bad roads. 3. My ex-boss was allegedly given ₦52 million by the Ekiti State Government for ransom support of me and the tractor operator that was killed, but she ate the money. Right now, my family is still struggling with a heavy debt of ₦3.5 million from the ransom my mom had to pay just to save my life. It hasn’t been easy for us at all. I’m sincerely pleading with anyone who can help us in any way. Your support, no matter how small, will go a long way in lifting this burden off us. Account Number: 2088772282 Bank: UBA Name: OLANIYI GBOLAHAN Please, help me and my mom get through this. 🙏🏽 God bless you abundantly. Amen 🤲🏽

@7_loveth @Teeniiola The first guy deserved to be beaten to a pulp. He had one job, and that was to separate those ladies but he stepped in as his baby's defendant.

Two ladies got into a serious f!ght, then one of their boyfriends jumped in and started be@ting the other girl. The second girl’s boyfriend immediately showed up, squared up with him, and dealt with him man to man. After overpowering him, he stepped in to separate the f!ght.

😭😂🥲🥲🥲dear senior please don’t take this the wrong way sir, and I personally know you did not mean this in an insensitive way but you were rather being sarcastic (because I use blunt sarcasm a lot too sometimes), but sir, these children are still going through the emotional rigors of not receiving their desired grade, which is very normal and everyone faced sir 🥺🥺. Their emotions are still very volatile and they are young🥺. Personally but for the support of my family and seniors who made sure to emphasize that a second class does not mean you are not an intelligent lawyer or you won’t succeed in the legal profession, I would have been extremely depressed knowing how much I put into the exams (I was reading on admission in hospital with drips few weeks to bar finals). Her feelings are very valid and I feel as seniors we should rather be able to comfort them through these feelings and assure them through our work in practice that you can achieve everything with your second class, like a first class would and that grades aren’t the prerequisite for success in practice. It is alright to cry and feel the pain but like my support systems always told me back then; be proud to have crossed the bridge in one leap. However high you jumped is immaterial (class of degree), you are on the other side and it is up to you how you climb from here on. I got my first good brief few weeks after call and ever since then till this morning by Gods grace, it’s been steady growth and increasing retainership and legal fees per additional year at the bar. You know me on a personal level sir to know the legal gigs I don’t post and my life I don’t post here. 😭🙏🏼please on behalf of my senior, I apologize for how his bluntness may be misconstrued as insensitivity dear baby lawyers on the TL. He simply means same thing I am saying; it hurts yes, but you are not a failure for not getting a red scroll and you certainly will succeed in practice if you put your mind to it. You have crossed the river, be glad for at least this most KEY fact. You’re no longer an aspirant, you be full counsel now o. We still have our resit babies to deal with don’t forget. They are your mates and friends too, so as you are crying, haba what do you want them to do? Imagine how they’ll be feeling? I don’t even have the right words for them because it is a pain i cannot comprehend enough to sympathize with properly and offer advice and support from real life experience😔💔
