@Z4M4IIN @ikrimah114 Nothing Haram about building structures to house tombs. The Prophet's [s] own resting place is within the house of Aisha [r].

@movetomuscat @AwaisulQadri From my chat with him on this topic I don’t think he has malicious intent by any means (As much as I am outraged by his positions). I think it’s a combination of uae 5D chess propaganda(similar to Adnan Ibrahim and others), post-nuclear world-binbayan-usul and Californian air 🤷‍♂️

@MrMagnetick @JonFDanilowicz His post doesn't imply he hasn't visited Pakistan. Could it be he is referring to the specific places referenced in the video that are in Pakistan?

This is a genuine question. When was the last time you bought something in the UK and thought: “that was good value!” Because I really struggle to think of one.

@QassamiQadiri12 You cannot truly be a Sufi if you do not support Ummatic causes. Without this commitment, your Sufism is hollow, a mere façade. Sufism confined to ivory towers is no Sufism at all. The greats, such as Omar Mukhtar, Abdal Qadir al-Jazaeri, and Ahmadou Bamba, risked their lives for

America is the richest, most powerful, and most generous country in the world. We are so superior to everyone else, and so charitable and kind and helpful, that unfortunately many of the lesser countries on the globe have become welfare queens who expect us to coddle, care for, fund, fight for and protect them. We are the parents who have taken good care of our children, but have not forced them to contribute enough, or earn their own keep, and now they are spoiled, ungrateful, and helpless. It’s time to cut the umbilical cord and force the rest of the countries to stand on their own two feet. We can’t do everything for everyone.

@EwaHawryleczko @BalaamAndDonkey Both the Hashemites and the House of Saud worked with Britain and, in doing so, helped bring down the Ottoman Empire, a long-standing Muslim authority. Their actions contributed to the fragmentation of the Muslim world and a betrayal.

@EwaHawryleczko @BalaamAndDonkey Britain’s alliances with the Hashemites and the House of Saud shifted according to its own strategic interests. It initially supported the Hashemites during the Arab Revolt, but grew frustrated with them and later encouraged the Saudis to expand.

@omar_dddg @rightorwrong1wy What kind of resilience? As in, content with going back to bedouin camel lifestyle? I don't think so. They're hoping Israel/US will save them. What kind of resilience is that? It will take Iran all of less than a day to decimate the UAE and Riyadh.

@rightorwrong1wy It’s complicated really. The killing of their ayotallahs and pms has also been normalised. That’s a very difficult position to be in long term. Also, their response to the Gulf has mostly been exposed and the Gulf will prove to be resilient.

Confirmation Bias blinds 95% of people in geopolitical analysis. If you think Iran is winning or will win, chances are YOU want them to win. To analyse geopolitics, which is a great skill if you want to get into fields like commodity trading, you need to be cold as a stone.

First of all, it doesn't matter what this land was called; many countries have changed names throughout history; the important thing is that the people were the same. And as for the British... The Al Saud dynasty descends from the Arab Banu Hanifa tribe (part of the larger Rabi'ah confederation), which had inhabited the Najd region in central Arabia for centuries. The Saudi state was forged by Ibn Saud (the founder of the modern kingdom) through conquests lasting from 1902 to 1932. The British supported the Sauds' rivals, the Hashemites (sheriffs of Mecca), to whom they promised a great Arab kingdom in exchange for assistance in the fight against the Ottoman Empire during World War I. However, Ibn Saud defeated the Hashemites and seized their lands (the Hejaz, including Mecca and Medina), presenting the British with a fait accompli.

I traveled the world. Met Christians, Jews, Hindus, atheists. The first time I met Muslims I saw something I had never seen before. People who were genuinely fulfilled. That's what reverted me. Not a debate or a lecture. Just fulfilled Muslims.

@salafi_ceuti @MrAdnanRashid Then it's a relatively small conceptual step, as the underlying principle is essentially the same. Many classical Sunni scholars permitted tawassul through the Prophet [s] and righteous people even after their passing. Istighatha is more contentious, though some scholars >>
