The UK is considering an American style global tax regime. If you move to zero tax havens like Dubai, you will still be forced to pay British income tax for the privilege of holding a UK passport and getting embassy protection. The tax loopholes might finally close.

@TomBarclay_ Spence is very versatile & can play in many positions plus James is injured. Plus the back up to Harry striker slot is still wide open.

Interesting to see Dominic Solanke and Djed Spence in the England squad. It's obviously a big squad and they are good players, but was surprised to see them both in on current form. Solanke has scored a few goals but understandably doesn't look up to speed yet post injury

While London may want to rejoin, areas like mine that voted 70% to leave definitely do not. In an increasingly divided world, the last thing we need is to divide the country all over again by restarting this debate.

Most senior Labour figure yet to openly call for party to put rejoining EU in next election manifesto. Will others now follow? (Very few even say this privately - but it’s a long time until the next election)…

@johnsweeneyroar Shut the fuck up. We have prove you faked the video with Putin, making it look like he didn't reply. You are fabricating every story. You are more of a killer because of that fake news than Putin is. Besides, if you can walk free in Moscow, than how many Mi6 agents are there??

@TalkTHFC__ I wasn't I thought after all the speculation about the new manager & the sacking of the previous one to end up with TF was bit of an anti-climax as he hadn't done anything of note. But hoped he would do well, but his inadequacies as a coach weren't helped by those in charge.

@terrychristian Your problem is that you ASSUME things. Ever studied Karl Popper, William James and Thomas Khun? I know you haven’t. You will learn that ‘science’ is a method of study that attempts to FALSIFY theories/ideas. The study requires conditions for it to be scientific

@panks_79 Lot's of contributory factors to a season that could still easily end in disaster but agree TF has to be the worst manager we have ever had, doesn't say much for the judgement of those who employed him in the 1st place either.

Thomas Frank: the worst Manager I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. Tudor has had a month of hell getting these players fit and ready to fight. And they now are. Frank should be fined by Spurs for negligence. What a useless floppy-haired beta dickhead.

@JonnyH3232 @xavisimons @LastWordOnSpurs Defo foul shoulder barged off the ball, thought the ref was poor kept booking our players and stopping the play everytime one of their players rolled over.

I’m sorry I’m still totally convinced that the referee or VAR should have 100% ruled out Atletico Madrid goal which levelled the tie & killed the momentum @xavisimons was fouled pure & simple. Would it have made a difference maybe yes maybe no but I’m fed up being on the wrong side of these decisions.Thoughts ? #COYS 🤍💙

Oil at $99 and the Strait is still closed. If this war goes another 30 days, $200 oil isn’t a threat from Tehran — it’s just math. And $6 gas is the midterm earthquake nobody in the West Wing is planning for.”

Spurs out of the Champions League but if they play with that unity and intensity they will stay in the Premier League. Players stood up to be counted. Archie Gray, class again. Xavi Simons superb. Djed Spence sprinting back to dispossess Alex Baena summed up commitment. #TOTATL

Tudor starting Drăgușin over Danso says a lot about his approach. He’s prioritising aggression, physicality, and dominance in the backline rather than just experience or composure.

Spurs have been knocked out of the Champions League after losing 7-5 on aggregate to Atletico Madrid but Mathys Tel, Xavi Simons & Archie Gray were fantastic as they won for first time since January This should be a huge confidence boost before Sunday's game v Nottingham Forest
