My old friend and studio engineer Rik Walton left us unexpectedly in the early hours of this morning. He was responsible for overseeing many of my recordings including ‘Do they know it’s Xmas’. Hug your family and friends. You don’t know what’s waiting round the corner🙏

Happy Friday my beautiful friends ❤️ What a hectic few weeks travelling & meeting some amazing people- the loveliest souls! 💕 It could almost, almost... almost distract me from the current conundrum we face. A world where barbarity is bragged about, proudly celebrated & worn like a badge of honour & patriotism. Where the most nauseous acts are committed with zero accountability, saved by redactions & where 'normal folk' face lifetimes in prison for saving tortured animals whilst the real monsters laugh at us, free as a bird, untouchable & bringing hell to those still living. We haven't lost our way, we are so far past that. We've lost humanity, sanity, shame & integrity. How is this the new norm??? How is everything still 'normal...'? Do our smiles reach our eyes? 💔💔💔😞

It is this amazing young man’s last day at school tomorrow @kerr_ewan47059 what a journey he has been on since he was born, every year since then he has came on leaps and bounds and I’m super proud of him 💙 his next chapter is college and voluntary work good luck love you 💙💙💙

Exactly a year ago today I lost my son Hans. He died in his sleep unexpectedly. From that moment on my life has changed forever. I may never recover from the loss and I pray to God to give me enough strength to go through the remainder of my life in peace. 🙏
