@ConalGTracey I agree Goodwin should’ve been given a ban but 6 games with 2 suspended is too much. Neilson didn’t even get a slap on the wrist, just seems unfair that even last season they weren’t handing out punishments for managers doing the same thing. 2 games 6 suspend much better IMO.

@ElderFinlay Don't get me wrong, Neilson should've been punished, but I think his comments were fairly tame compared to what Goodwin's. Stuff like "that's what the boy does" and "he's made a hell of a career out of it" are out of order. It was the 2nd pen Porteous had won in his career.

Fair enough go mental if someone had been hurt, but he has come out and publicly slandered Porteous who, albeit soft, was fouled by Scales. Then to admit that you've tried to sway the ref pre-match. I can understand he was upset by the loss but he must've known he'd be punished.
