Beautiful morning for the UAMS Be Part of the Cure Walk at War Memorial Stadium. This annual event helps raise significant funds for local cancer research, and folks turned out from all over the Little Rock area to participate. On a personal level, it was an honor to walk for George O’Connor, a dear friend to Martha and I who fought the good fight and passed on recently.

Great to visit with officers from the Little Rock Police Department yesterday for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day! Safely disposing of unused medications helps keep our communities healthier and our neighborhoods safer.
