What people in the comments want sounds so crazy to me. This signals to me that the disconnect between casuals and people who play competitively and go to tournaments is huge.
We want multi-month formats so we can develop the meta.
They want new items and new Pokemon every month.

Design: Simplified mechanics focused on clarity for beginners. Strategy: Long-term live service evolving based on player feedback.

I haven’t said it enough but Mega Skarmory looks absolutely fierce in Pokémon Champions.
One of the best Mega designs ever.
