I study every day, but I feel like I'm learning less and less with my Japanese lessons. Duolingo doesn't adjust the amount of vocabulary for also needing to learn to read multiple kanji for every new word. Their kanji teaching is abysmal. I do feel like I am learning German.

@SporadicErratic When did they add the kanji page? I haven't seen it before.

I wonder if it's just as bad for Chinese. Any language where you need to learn to read several thousand characters shouldn't be treated the same as languages with a single alphabet. Their system also seems to punish you for learning more than one language at once.
