1/8 It’s alarming how so many youths today are obsessed with riches, but don’t want to build sincerely and honestly to earn it. We crave the big cars, the flexing, the lifestyle – but reject the grind. This mindset is becoming dangerous and It’s pushing our society to the brink.

We must continue to remind the Nigerian Police @policeng @TunjiDisu1 that it is not a criminal offense warranting arrest or detention for bloggers to report that @TonyOElumelu, Chairman of @UBAGroup, has reportedly divorced his wife. At most, such a matter falls within the realm of civil law and does not justify police action or repression. The @PoliceNG must therefore immediately release Kingsley Akunemeihe (@Directorkem), Chigozie Success Ihebom, and John Surpruchi Nwanorue (@problemchimky). #aacourParty

You are the rock on which we stand, and every well-meaning citizen of this country who wants to see it move forward and work for all will follow you wherever you go. There is no excuse. I believe in the change you hunger for and desire for Nigeria and Nigerians, and I want to be part of those who make it happen. I see millions of others who hunger for this change too. It is possible 👏🏻

"The condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria, informed my decision to leave ADC for NDC." Yesterday, I formally joined the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), alongside my dear brother, Engr. Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, with one clear purpose: to continue the struggle for a new Nigeria built on justice, competence, accountability, and compassion for the ordinary Nigerian. As I stated yesterday, this decision was not made out of anger, personal ambition, or convenience. It came after deep reflection on the present condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from the dangerous path it is currently heading. Over the years, I have remained steadfast in my conviction that politics should never be about individuals, positions, or personal gain. It must be about the people, especially the millions of Nigerians who today can no longer afford necessities, whose businesses are collapsing, whose children are losing hope, and whose future is becoming increasingly uncertain. I left the ADC for the same reason I left the Labour Party: the severe, orchestrated litigation and internal crises deliberately designed to ensure that I, alongside many other notable individuals, do not effectively participate in the electoral process. I sincerely appreciate and remain deeply grateful to the Leadership of ADC for the opportunity to work together in pursuit of a better Nigeria. I am particularly grateful to ADC Chairman Senator David Mark for his exceptional Leadership. I also deeply appreciate my Leader and elder brother YE, Atiku Abubakar, as well as other respected leaders within the party. As we join the NDC, I sincerely appeal to the Nigerian Government against the encouragement of unresolved litigations and the infusion of crises within political parties. Democracy must never become a weapon against the people. A healthy democracy thrives on strong institutions, credible alternatives, and the freedom of citizens to make choices without intimidation, manipulation, or fear. Opposition parties must not be weakened or destroyed, because when democracy loses balance, the people ultimately suffer. Nigeria today is passing through one of the most difficult periods in its history. Poverty is rising. Hunger is widespread. Insecurity continues to threaten lives and livelihoods. Businesses are shutting down daily. Our young people are becoming discouraged, and many citizens have lost faith in the system. At a time like this, leadership must be driven not by propaganda or division, but by competence, capacity, character, and compassion. Our decision to join the NDC is therefore not an abandonment of values, but a continuation of the same mission we have always stood for: building a Nigeria where leadership is about service, where public resources are managed responsibly, where institutions function independently, and where every Nigerian, regardless of tribe, religion, region, or social status, can live with dignity, security, and hope. I remain committed to working with all Nigerians of goodwill across political, ethnic, and religious lines. The task before us is bigger than any individual or political party. It is about the future of our children and the survival of our dear nation. I thank Nigerians, especially our youths and women, for remaining peaceful, resilient, and hopeful despite the enormous challenges confronting the country. I urge you not to lose faith in Nigeria. Nations do not change because people surrender to hopelessness; they change because people continue to believe, continue to sacrifice, and continue to stand for what is right. A new Nigeria is still POssible. -PO

@Mk_girll This👏🏻! As long as you don’t wait until you are perfect, you are a step closer to getting things done. Starting with whatever tools and knowledge you have will always be better than waiting until everything is set.

So I saw a post that resonated so much with me. It said: “Don’t let the fear of being perfect yet prevent you from being present.” That line really sticks with me because, in many ways, it’s what has held a lot of people back from starting, trying, let alone making mistakes, failing, and trying again even harder. On a daily basis, we see people grow from and through mistakes. Opportunities are literally everywhere, moving all around us. But how do you step into any of them if you are not participating? Just because you feel you are not perfect yet. The fear of getting it wrong, what people will say, or how our imperfections will be perceived—I think that’s what quietly stops a lot of people from even starting. Sometimes until it’s too late. And I have also come to realize that there is no perfect time. You can’t become perfect at anything without first participating, making mistakes, learning, and growing into it and through it. So yeah! Maybe this is your reminder too! Stop waiting for the perfect moment to start. Being present even imperfectly will always matter more than waiting for perfection.

It’s touching eveyone now ? I thought I was the only one affected by their criminality. I have called severally to warn them against tempering with my subscription but that alone won’t solve the issue unless we have a replacement. After ranting and complaining , you will still subscribe with them again because there is no alternative . Glo and Airtel networks are just another messy option.

I don’t feel sorry for anyone who gets themselves involved in false rape accusations. No matter how angry you are at someone, don’t ever dare accuse anyone falsely. Women around the globe are victims of the same gruesome crime, and then someone wakes up to joke with it. It’s against God and humanity. She is very lucky that Wizarab is merciful, and I hope she has learned her lesson.

Update !!! Sir Dickson has decided to settle the issue with the feminist who tagged him a r@pist . He has now warned that others might not be so lucky next time. The terms of the settlement include: - Loki deleting her tweet on 𝕏 - Issuing an apology video across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and 𝕏 ) - Publishing an apology in five national newspapers - Never speak about Wizarab again All of this must be done within 7 days.

Summary of the Wizarab Lawsuit Against Loki - Twitter feminist Loki made a post accusing Wizarab of r*pe and m*rder - Twitter users asked Wizarab to address the issue, as they see him as a role model - Wizarab decided to take legal action and served Loki with a lawsuit - Wizarab demanded that Loki take down the post and make a public apology on Twitter and in five national newspapers - The lawsuit threatens ₦500 million in damages, while the settlement option requires ₦50 million plus a public apology - Loki was given 7 days to comply or face court action - Wizarab later stated that Loki was trying to plead privately, but the matter is now with his lawyers, and she was served again - The court application has been granted - The court restrained Loki from spreading further defamatory posts - The post was considered false, malicious, trending, and capable of causing irreparable reputational damage - The case is still in court, but an injunction has been granted pending full trial May the best lawyer win!!!

Yesterday, we took a bold and decisive step by formally joining the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). At the residence of Senator Seriake Dickson in Abuja, I announced that our decision stems from a deep commitment to democratic values. We are determined to provide our people with a credible platform where they can thrive and realise their full potential. I therefore call on all our dedicated supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to join the NDC and stand with us in this renewed fight for good governance and true democracy. - RMK

What exactly is Governor MBA doing about all these things happening in Enugu State recently? He seems quiet, and I don’t want to believe he is unaware of the news. Even if he is not, his PR team should be updating him. And he also has the intention of running for a second term o 🤦🏻

This driver is likely dealing with agberos on a steady basis, while high fuel costs are still affecting his efforts and he probably doesn’t own that bus. You can feel the frustration in his voice. The man is trying just like everyone else, but the APC government has no plans for people like him and every one of us , even those wearing that shirt , they use and dump them .
