We’ve executed integrated Mining Services and Ore Haulage Services Agreements with Regroup Australia for our Butcherbird Expansion Project (BBX) in WA’s Pilbara region, extending the long term collaboration between the two companies. The agreements represent a major milestone for the delivery of BBX and materially advance the project’s operational readiness, with the integrated contractor model designed to optimise productivity, reduce operating costs, minimise commercial interface risk and enhance overall project efficiency. Element 25 is targeting 1.1 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of manganese concentrate production for both traditional steel markets and as feedstock for battery grade HPMSM refining. Other major contracts for BBX, including offtake, are nearing finalisation. We’ve commenced a review of our HPMSM Project Execution Plan to optimise development strategy in response to evolving EV market conditions and emerging battery chemistries. Strong ongoing engagement with strategic partners for the Louisiana HPMSM facility continues, including constructive engagement with General Motors & Stellantis to renegotiate contracts. LMR and LMFP battery chemistries are expected to materially increase global manganese demand, with LMR battery cells using around 50% to 70% manganese, increasing the required manganese by up to 10X compared to high nickel ternary chemistries. Our integrated development strategy, linking the Butcherbird Expansion Project with our proposed US based HPMSM processing facility, places us in a strong position to capitalise on these emerging market dynamics and support the evolving requirements of global EV manufacturers. We’ve progressed works on multiple fronts in relation to our Butcherbird Expansion Project in Western Australia, targeting manganese concentrate production of 1.1 million tonnes per annum with a commissioning date scheduled for Q1 2027. The first main plant item, the logwasher, shipped on schedule and is now in transit for delivery to site. Orders have been placed for the majority of main plant items including the crushing circuit, conveyors, stackers, thickener, screens, and apron feeder, minimising cost escalation risk. Advanced discussions are ongoing with preferred ore offtake partners and all permits remain in place for construction, with the BBX Project remaining on track for mechanical completion and commissioning in Q1 calendar 2027. In March, spiking oil prices have caused #EV sales in France, Germany and the UK to spike, with a 44% increase over a year-earlier. In South Korea, electric car transactions more than doubled. In Italy, there was an uncharacteristic 67% lift. Surging #EV demand in Europe, Australia and parts of Asia more than offset waning sales in China and the US caused by policy shifts. #manganese #batteries

We’ve completed an $18 million Share Placement at AU$0.30 per share to fund the expansion of the Butcherbird Manganese Project in WA. The Placement follows the AU$50 million senior debt facility secured from Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility and supports the Butcherbird Expansion Project designed to increase production capacity to 1.1 million tonnes per annum. Butcherbird is a world-class manganese resource with an Ore Reserve of 101Mt at 10.4% Mn for 10.5 million tonnes of contained manganese. Increased production capacity will support Element 25’s planned high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) production facility in Louisiana, USA, as well as supplying concentrate to steel industry partners. Managing Director Justin Brown said: “Expanding Butcherbird is an important part of our strategy to sell manganese concentrate to steel industry partners as well as using it as feedstock in our plans to produce HPMSM. “We are pleased with the support from new and existing shareholders in this Placement, particularly in light of the challenging market backdrop. Funds raised under the Placement support our AU$50 million backing from NAIF to fund the construction of the BBX Project in line with the project plan.” Read the full ASX Announcement here: element25.com.au/announcements/… #E25 #ASX #ASXnews #MiningNews

Our MD, Justin Brown, was in Hanoi last week at @Fastmarkets Asia Ferroalloys 2026, engaging with key participants across the #manganese and #steel supply chain. He joined two panels focused on manganese ore, ferromanganese and manganese alloys market trends, challenges and opportunities, and the future of raw materials in a decarbonising steel industry. These discussions align closely with our strategy at Butcherbird, as we progress plans to supply manganese into both traditional steel markets and emerging battery supply chains. #E25
