This week our team had a great opportunity to get together with Moscrop grade 10 students at the @bcit British Columbia Institute of Technology field! Great chance for students to tinker with surveying instruments and talk to our team about survey life. “I need a legal survey plan.” This is a common request we hear from clients. In general, survey plans fall into two broad categories: statutory survey plans and non-statutory survey plans.

We're happy to be starting on @mlemporio Properties latest project (Matteo) in Langley! Starting in 2022 we provided all the drawings required to facilitate the design and have recently provided the preliminary strata plans for the project. Moving forward we will first be involved with the excavation and the subsequent construction portion of the project. Capping it all off with the final strata plans once construction is close to completion. #surveying #survey #landsurveyors

This past fall, we took on our largest project yet: a 33-storey condo project in Burnaby. It wasn’t without challenges. The building was already fully built, with drywall and finishes complete, making measurements far more complex than usual. On top of that, the client was working toward a tight occupancy timeline, which meant there was no room for delays. Even with those constraints, we turned around the final strata plan and lease plans well ahead of schedule. One comment from the project lawyer stood out: we were the only trade or consultant on the project to not only meet the deadline, but exceed it. A great example of what’s possible when precision, responsiveness, and execution all come together.
