Peak dead season in the NFL so just ‘rumor’ any high profile player to the Cowboys ✭ and it’ll be alive again. George Pickens absolutely goes against the Schottenheimer grain, so stand by for now. —but just know on the outside chance this comes to fruition, I’m airing out the dirty laundry. A few weeks ago I was unfairly mocked by national media folk for my “hypothetical sandbox” trade proposal: •featuring a DAL-PIT 1st round pick-swap & George Pickens as the nucleus ⚛️ No ‘breaking news’ or anything reported as imminent…. just strictly hypothetical. A fun angle amidst peak Draft fatigue. You don’t know my name (yet). And you jumped to conclusions. (You also exposed yourself but I’m keeping that one in the back pocket in the event this happens again). I forgave, made a mental note, found a silver lining & moved on but there’s a valuable lesson we can all takeaway here: —know who you’re playing with & think twice before you speak. Especially when you De-Fame someones name. Im a nice guy. But I don’t have a problem sounding the trumpet 🎺
