A pigeon was spotted wearing royal jewelry today 🕊️💎 She refuses to give it back and claims noblesse oblige. 👑 We might have a new queen. The Council is panicking accordingly.

The library has a “do not read this book” shelf now 📚🚫 Naturally it’s the most popular section. The books keep sighing like they’re tired of being dramatic. 😮‍💨✨

Someone keeps whispering prophecies into the public fountain 🐸🔮💧 Most are just weather reports with extra sparkle. Still… three were right. We’re adding “maybe magic” to the town budget.

The tavern introduced a new drink called “Elftown Confidence” 🍺💥 One sip and suddenly you think you’re the chosen one. Two sips and the broom starts calling you “captain.” 🧹🫡

The Moon sent us a warning last night 🌕📬 Something about “stop poking the stars with sticks.” We’d listen… but the stars poked us first. ⭐🗡️

The mayor held a speech about “important initiatives” today 🗣️🏛️ Halfway through, his hat floated off and finished the speech for him. 🎩🗨️ Everyone agreed the hat made better points.

Someone left a perfectly good spellbook on a park bench today 📖✨ It only contains one spell, and it’s for summoning soup. 🍲 Unfortunately, the soup always appears slightly outside the bowl. We’re calling it “a feature"

Town meeting today, the topic: “When did the pigeons learn teleportation?” 🕊️💨 Several witnesses claim their hats were missing for five minutes. We concluded the hats just needed fresh air. The pigeons remain under investigation.

They showed up just as the sun hit the rooftops, cloak glowing brighter than anything has the right to. Claimed they were here to “restore balance,” then immediately tripped over a bucket. Balance restored anyway, somehow.

They found the missing spoon behind the gate 🍽️🚪 It wasn’t stirring soup. It was stirring shadows. The shadow complained about a lack of recognition. We promised it a plaque, pending budget review.

The painter says one of the portraits winked at him 🎨😉 He’s asking for overtime. Meanwhile the portrait insists he's just “seeing things.” We’re not convinced either.

Nobody remembers when this elf left, but everyone agrees they came back looking suspiciously well rested. The armor’s mostly for decoration, the real defense is unearned confidence. ⚔️ Some say the yellow cloak marks a hero. Others say it marks the laundry pile. Both are probably true.
