the following is objectively true: “pro-Palestinian student activists…have…opened our hearts to the injustice and inhumanity of Israel’s war in Gaza” And it is profoundly consistent with an exhortation to U of M students to keep engaging hard Qs, not hiding from them. 1/

@NateDuncanNBA they feel like a redux of the Durant-Westbrook team that everyone left for dead, beat teams they werent supposed to but ultimately came up short vs one opponent.

I just love this Wolves team. They're such a monkeywrench in everyone's plans and predictions, tons of great characters, and just fearless. Been very enjoyable to have them in our lives every postseason.

@iamrahstradamus Also playing 82 high stress regular season games going for the record has to be draining as well

I will go to my grave believing that if the Warriors didn’t have to play a 7 game series against the Thunder before the Cavs in 2016, they win that series easily. They were not the same team after that OKC series. I also believe that if the 2019 Raptors didn’t have to play a 7 game series against Philly, they would have beat that overrated Bucks team in 5 games too. They were crushing the Bucks in game 1 of that series and ran out of gas. That carried over to Game 2 and the Raptors never regained their form until Game 3 The NBA playoffs is just as much of a war of attrition as boxing in the sense that some fights/series take so much out of a fighter/team that they’re never the same.

The sooner we recognize this hard truth—that there’s no military solution to the conflict with Iran—the better off the United States will be. Sheer military force cannot reopen the Strait of Hormuz without escalating the war and sucking us into another endless, bloody quagmire that delivers zero benefit to our people. We can’t get rid of the emboldened government in Tehran, regardless of how many leaders we kill. If we try we will end up with a government or failed state, worse than what we have now. The inevitable reality is this: we will have to cut a deal with Iran. We can be pragmatic and do it now on our own terms, or we can keep listening to the same neocons and the Israeli government who got us into this mess, only to cut the same deal after we’ve lost even more. Recognizing that we have hit the point of diminishing returns and pulling out now is not weakness. It is strength—and it’s the right thing to do for the American people.

Given Tehran’s well-documented history of fabricating or embellishing claims about its military accomplishments, media outlets that carry Iranian claims regarding such attacks without rigorous scrutiny and appropriate caveats undermine their own credibility by appearing to amplify Iranian propaganda. One wonders how many of the flash reports that were issued on this story will be followed by flash corrections.
U.S. Central Command@CENTCOM

🚫 CLAIM: Iranian state media claims that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps hit a U.S. warship with two missiles. ✅ TRUTH: No U.S. Navy ships have been struck. U.S. forces are supporting Project Freedom and enforcing the naval blockade on Iranian ports.

There is a long history of Israeli lobbies in the United States, like you, working to drag America into conflicts on behalf of Israel. There is also a long history of AIPAC funding operating with great influence—AIPAC money is paid to lobbying groups, while American taxpayers’ money is being wasted.”

@JSchanzer What's the point of FDD if you just repeat what may not be true as a fact?

Tucker spent 8 years on Fox reading written monologues off a teleprompter. The world is now learning just what a casual liar he is. Comes by it honestly. His father was one of the most astounding pathological liars I’ve ever known.
