Instead of advocating for the same protections that MD-PhD students get (which are quickly eroding anyway) some grad students continue to prefer to question the legitimacy of our PhDs which seems...productive

Why has the time it takes to complete a PhD somehow increased from 4 to 6+ years over the past 30 years? Also, why do MD/PhD students somehow get their “PhD” done in 3-4 years when non dual degree students are doing 5-6 years of research in the same fields?

I HATE the term “racial melanosis” to describe pigmentary changes on the conjunctiva of dark skin people. Why can’t it just be melanosis? Racial melanosis lends to the concept that race is a biological, not a social construct

The first 3 things I saw on this bird app today: vid of another unarmed Black man murdered by police, another Black woman died during childbirth from neglect, and a white male is suing a med school b/c he feels discriminated against for being a white male. Lemme get off here.

My best friend died giving birth last night at Centinela hospital due to medical neglect. She and her bf complained for hours to the nurses that she could not feel her legs and they told her they could not call the doctors bc they would get upset. Now my best friend is dead bro
