@Buckeye937B Finesse KG averaged 4 FTA per game in the playoffs for his career. Lower than guys like Chris Bosh and Tom Chambers. Duncan has like 9 playoff series better than KG's best. At some point results have to take precedence over hypotheticals

Exactly Man We going way to far into the analytics and not the actually tape And he’s using that stat as an advantage for KG but I would argue that stat perfectly points out why Duncan was better as an lead guy Too much of KG game was depended on other guys scoring off his play making , and other guys setting him up , it’s nice he could play make for others and handle the ball but you need your best player to create for himself and put pressure on defense himself , KG's reliance on mid-range jumpers rather than constant paint penetration limited his free-throw attempts and the pressure he put on defense in the dead ball era being able to score and create in the half court yourself was the most valuable aspect to winning Kobe , Shaq, Duncan all had that KG was better suited as a secondary or 1B option. He often struggled to pair volume with efficiency in the postseason because of the difficult nature of his face up game that relied so much on shooting touch and creating advantages with athleticism, KG is an all time great but yes the overly reliance on advanced stats to paint an picture is annoying lol
