@tigerroarcouk No, no, don’t be backtracking now. The attacker jumped at “him” (the goalkeeper) and made no attempt at the ball.

@tigerroarcouk I gathered that with the keepers feet being off the ground. As you’ve said, the attacker made a run and jump at him… with that being said, obviously you believe it’s a foul also 😉

@EliteGKAcademy I will add that the keeper wasn't actually stood in that position with the ball in two hands and the attacker decided to make a run and jump at him but I suspect anyone with an ounce of sense would know that :)

Slightly different to normal. I worked with Neil to develop his ability to decelerate to SET quickly. We worked through his acceleration, single limb and joint stability and also worked on the process of decelerating more efficiently and effectively. youtu.be/QOPfnB6G5KI

And we wonder why goalkeepers fear making mistakes when they see keepers criticised for things like this! @JMontgomery94 drops deep to receive the ball further away from pressure, defender doesn’t check and drops it short. Absolutely not at fault! Sort it out @btsportfootball
