The installation of the technical update for #EscapefromTarkov has begun. The installation will take approximately 4 hours, but may be extended if required. The game will not be accessible during this period. List of fixes and changes: ● Temporarily disabled the less optimal technology of transparent object rendering for Factory, Woods, and The Lab. This will significantly increase the game client performance on these locations. Similar adjustments for other locations, as well as the option to enable the technology will be added in future updates; ● Adjusted the server logic in order to reduce packet loss and rubberbanding during character movement; ● Fixed the cause of the BTR becoming invisible; ● Fixed the possibility of receiving double damage if the bullet penetrates the integrated neck armor and body armor; ● Updated Nvidia DLSS to version 4; ● Fixed the operation of vsync together with Nvidia Reflex if they were enabled sequentially during a raid; ● Fixed the incorrect display of a group member after spawning; ● Fixed the incorrect operation of the Cyclone Shakhin thermal scope; ● Fixed the incorrect display of large-sized items in special slots; ● Fixed the display of shooting targets in the Hideout while selecting a target style; ● Fixed the generator notification after visiting a friend's Hideout; ● Fixed the display of Prestige dogtags in the Hall of Fame zone; ● Fixed the display of posters in the Stash level 2 and 3 zone; ● Fixed the Hideout customization items being moved to other slots if there was no room in stash when they were removed; ● Fixed the uneven output of extracts on Woods where players were given the Outskirts exfil more often than others; ● Expanded the objective areas for the tasks Return the Favor, Safe Corridor, and The Huntsman Path - Secured Perimeter; ● Fixed multiple gear and clothing combinations added in Patch 0.16.0.0 that were causing clipping; ● Fixed the display of ammo in the AA-12 8-round magazine; ● Fixed the incorrect camera behavior when quick-reloading IWI UZI with a 25-round magazine; ● Fixed the Lantac BMD A3 adapter compatibility for Mk47 409mm barrel; ● Fixed the incorrect visual recoil for RPD and RPDN when using bipods; ● Fixed the display of ammo in the Magpul PMAG GL9 21-round magazine.

Yes, less than 10% of the player base wants flea removed completely. Almost ~50% found the game more engaging without it. If most players didn’t like the flea lock, the answer to the above result would be much different. I advocate to remove it permanently, but the flea shouldn’t be permanently removed; flea should be locked at the beginning of wipe, however.

@nikgeneburn I dont mind the flea, only reason i liked it at start if wipe without flea, because it felt like i was running into less cheaters. So the bigger problem here isnt flea but rather cheaters for me anyways

We have installed a technical update for #EscapefromTarkov. The game will not stop, but on updated servers, raid time may be reduced to 10 minutes. Please download the update through the launcher. ● Fixed all known causes of Scavs appearing invisible for some players when playing as a group; ● Fixed all known causes of server connection loss when loading into a Scav raid; If these issues persist, please submit the bug reports via the BSG Launcher. If possible, provide videos and screenshots of the issues. ● Fixed the occasional missing grenade explosions in PvE mode; ● Fixed the client freeze after listing an item on the Flea Market when using linked search; ● Fixed the incorrect weapon accuracy mechanics in PvE mode; ● Fixed the ability to accept BTR driver tasks as a Scav; ● Fixed the issue with taking damage from Sniper Scavs while inside the BTR on Woods.

@Perrencee @HayzStreams For me personally this is just not true, 3 days ive been scaving and pmcing shorline and customs, checking every jacket and filing cabinet, found every key but not the ones i need to progress peacekeep to level 4 😂 pure pain

@HayzStreams so many people crying over keys its funny, If people actually go looking for keys they'd be shocked what they can find, ive found nearly every quest key from scaving reserve and hitting up the file cabinets

We all need to realise that the Tarkov Flea market doesn't help casual players any more than it helps the grinders. The majority of players stuck on quests requiring keys are higher level players (For example W216 & W112). This gives players some time to catch up that would have never caught up. The flea market allows for EVERYONE to progress and stop playing faster than ever.

What Keys do you need in #EscapefromTarkov ? Give me your level then the key "Level 35 - Need Cottage Back Door Key" If you see someone name a key you find often let them know where. Assume this is more than just me asking 👀

@axel__tv I love no flea not gonna lie, but being stuck on level 3 peacekeep because i cant find any of his keys for quests is absolute torture

All the casuals that were waiting for flea so they can buy keys and do quests just used a paracord extract man .

@tarkov Honestly the only reason i would be against this is quest keys, im stuck at peacekeeper 3 because im locked behind quest keys for his quests 🤦‍♂️ driving me bannas trying to find them 😅
