witnessed a sad sight yesterday. young mum with her two children came into the cafe. young looking at all the cakes 'will we have them for our pudding' mum looks at menu, sandwiches, prices etc then they leave.

@cm_bagot It’s been such a dry, hot Summer but no doubt it will be a wet Winter again…. things are certainly changing with our climate! We have had a lot of 30+ days down here which are too much.

@ElizabethW859 very worrying though, this should be much higher. it's where our water comes from🙄came through torrential rain, water running down the road, to this point.

Stocks reservoir today. good to have rain but we need much more to improve water levels.

@SheilaHarries Hi there, a couple of swans do appear now and then. I panicked when they did as they too came right over to her - but strangely enough they are relaxed with her too. I wonder if they sense she is no danger to them - she’s soft natured

Taking Agnes swimming to help her recover from a leg injury. A gang of ducks regularly come and swim with her. Much to her alarm at first, but she’s getting used to them! Funny x
