AI isn’t cheating—it’s a tool. 💡 Smart work > hard work. #AI #Productivity #WorkSmart
Social Media Examiner@SMExaminer

Does AI make marketers lazy or does it make them better? I've been wrestling with this question for months. And I think I finally have an answer. During my keynote at Social Media Marketing World this year, I shared an image of sticky note with these powerful words: "How can AI help me with this?" I discovered the concept from Geoff Woods and it's brilliant. Some marketers approached me after, questioning if using AI is "cheating." I smiled and asked, "Is using a calculator cheating?" Then I wondered if using grammar checkers is cheating? Of course not. Just because a machine helps us reach our destination faster doesn't mean we're lazy. It means we're smart. It means we're focusing our human creativity where it matters most. I've noticed something fascinating in our industry lately. The marketers embracing AI are producing MORE original work, not less. They're experimenting more. They're testing more ideas. They're breaking through creative blocks that used to hold them back for days. Here's the truth: AI doesn't replace your marketing expertise—it amplifies it. It's like having a brainstorming partner who never gets tired, never judges your crazy ideas, and helps you refine your thinking. Perhaps the real lazy marketers are those refusing to learn these new AI tools. They're the ones clinging to outdated ideals while their competitors race ahead. They're the ones who will wonder what happened when they're left behind. I remember when social media was new. Some embraced it, others called it a fad. We all know how that turned out. This feels exactly the same. So what's your take? Are you leveraging AI to become better at what you do? Or are you watching from the sidelines? I'd love to hear from you. - @Mike_Stelzner
