I don't actually understand why anybody would shop at Waitrose. You can buy the same quality and products in every other supermarket, but cheaper. 🤔

Television is pretty much unwatchable nowadays, isn't it, with endless ads for cremations, funerals, dementia care, walk in baths and showers, wills etc. Thank Goodness for 🚴‍♀️ and 📚.

I wonder how many Christians like me would love to have gone to their parish church on this most important day but just couldn't because they felt like an outsider even though confirmed there many years ago? The wrong clothes or education, isolation? So I made this instead. ✝️

Trump and Israel are bombing civilian bridges in Iran. Not military targets. Bridges that let people escape. Roads that let ambulances reach the wounded. Food, medicine, water: all blocked. We saw it in Gaza, then Lebanon, and now Iran. This is systematic assault on civilians

Hundreds on the streets of London now to protest Israel passing a racist, illegal law imposing the death penalty exclusively for Palestinian prisoners 🇵🇸 Our government must take concrete action to oppose this discriminatory law and impose sanctions, including a full arms embargo, on Israel.

@chrissieA2 @fenlandflo Yes, that's us in a gas free village. Trying not to whinge too much, and just paying those big electric bills. 🤷‍♀️

@fenlandflo Many ppl live who live in villages with no mains gas and where oil tankers can't reach their homes eg they live on a bridleway with a huge water ditch on one side, have to have electric radiatiors. Hugely pricey.

Anyway we are forced to top up the heating oil tank today. Amazingly the oil company just quoted a price. £780 for 500 litres. Imagine someone in a village like ours with no mains gas and living on a state pension having to fill up their oil tank.
