“Very last” row in North London (cap. ~66k): no beer and no back wall, just the wind. Sight-lines clear enough to feel you’re still there.

Back row in Montreal (capacity ~22k): warm cinder block wall, sticky floor, smell of stale beer, sight-line obscured by press boxes.

So proud: I’ve completed the unlikely lifetime achievement of sitting in the last row of the stadia belonging to my 2 favourite teams.

Tonight to see #arsenal for first time in 12+ years, v. Liverpool. Different players, stadium, ownership. Same manager. Nervous + excited.
