Please, everyone, delete your MetaMask wallet immediately! 🙏 🙏 🙏 I just got drained because of MetaMask. 😭😭 Here is what happened: A few hours ago, I opened my @MetaMask app and saw $5,000 worth of USDC on the Base Chain. I checked the Contract Address, and it appeared to be the legitimate USDC address ( USDC CA: 0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913 ). I wasn’t sure if it was a glitch, but every time I tried to send it to another wallet, the transaction failed. Luckily, that specific wallet was empty other than that 5k USDC. But, in my other wallet which held $1,050 of my real funds, I saw a token called $LF worth about $500. ( $LF CA: 0x957c7fA189a408E78543113412f6Ae1a9b4022C4) I immediately tried to swap it for ETH thinking it was an Airdrop. The transaction was successful, but I received absolutely nothing in return. That’s when I realized something was seriously wrong. When I refreshed my app, I received a notification that my real $1,000 had been sent to an unknown wallet. My funds are gone. Please, get rid of MetaMask. Fvck you, MetaMask! Web3 safety starts with deleting @MetaMask
