Poor sleep quality despite enough hours. Low-grade stress that never fully switched off. Focus that came in short bursts instead of deep stretches. Nothing was wrong but nothing was optimal either. High performers burn out because they ignore feedback for too long.

I’ve been ill this week. And it made me curious as to why anyone would ever take health for granted. Most entrepreneurs treat health as a liability - something that costs time and attention. But it’s the opposite. Health is a human capital asset. It compounds. It generates returns. It’s the only asset that makes every other asset more valuable. More focus = better strategy. More energy = faster execution. Better sleep = better decisions. The entrepreneurs who outperform long-term are the ones who start seeing their body as a profit center, not an afterthought.

We glorify ‘stress’ in entrepreneurship. Because it makes us feel good. But stress isn’t the problem. Lack of recovery is. It’s like lifting heavy wiothout rest. You’d break. Here’s the truth: - Your nervous system is the CEO of your output. - Recovery is the broad meeting i demands daily - Ignore it, and youl’ll get sacked from your own goals. Recovery is not weak — its strategy. And it just may be the highest ROI activity most entrepereneurs never train.
