@WSLAnalytics The Sunday noon KO times have all but taken our group of 14 Villa season ticket holders out. I think next season only 6 will renew, because so many of the kids are playing football themselves at that time. 2pm was generally no problem.

@BiteYourBrum I think the Villa players/staff are officially on holiday after Sunday. Many only have a couple of days before reporting for World Cup duty.

I’m all for this but, there’s about 25K fans over in Istanbul that won’t be back in time for this. Wouldn’t it have made sense to do this on bank holiday Monday, when more people are back/others off work?

Agree. WSL scheduling this season has been awful. Villa having to move the Arsenal game (probably the highest gate of the season) to a midweek at short notice for the second season in a row. In addition, the Sunday midday KO’s means many playing grassroots can’t make most games.

Love to hear more #BarclaysWSL fans' thoughts on this Friday night slot. Upsides: no clash with the men's PL, (good stadium-availability) & it's not a school night. Big downside for away fans (like the loyal BHAFC fans here at GP) but that journey is hard for most kick-off slots?

@Panchero Worst season since my daughter was born. She’s turning 15. She’s seen three promotions, two FA Cup semis, two FA Cup quarters, and only two lost play off finals. No idea how she’ll deal with this period of dross.

People talk about a bad second half, but we were really lucky to be leading at half-time. They were comfortably better over the 90 as we once again showed that we're a soft touch. Still think we easily stay up, but it's going to be a really tedious 5 months from here
